My girlfriend and I have used it a few times camping and just to test indoors. Its a great solution for couples. We have had the issue of pads sliding into each other and on top of each other while we sleep and this prevents that. the pad itself also seems to have a grip area underneath to keep the pad in place while you sleep. We would advise filling it a bit less than full for comfort, when both people are on it when its full it is a bit too firm. the storage bad doubling as a pump is a great innovation. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and it is now part of our go-to camping sleep system.
The only cons I can think of are: 1. It is a bit difficult to get all the air out of the pad when in a rush. 2. Be careful of sharp objects that can pierce it.

Easy to inflate. Comfortable for 2 people. Saved some weight and size as compared to my previous setup of two REI AirRails. Insulated version was more than sufficient while camping at 40 degrees.

I was using a regular queen-sized airbed before. In terms of comfort lying on it it's better than the airbed. However, I believe the Double V is a bit too exact of a size for two people. I mean, there isn't much room for two people to move. One small scoot when lying down and you'll be out of the pad. This is perfect for people who sleep completely still.

How disappointing. Used on 2 trips, and a slow leak developed first night of our second trip. Nothing ruins my morning more than having ;my butt resting on the cold hard ground. I submersed it in the tub and it looks like the deflate valve is where the leak is located. Contacting Klymit about a repair or replacement.

I've used the insulated double pad a couple of times, have not yet used it with a partner. It's easy to inflate, fairly easy to deflate, and compact for what it is, not to mention warm and very comfortable. It probably takes up about the same room as our two old thermarests, but is much more comfortable.

Solid pad and worth the weight for two

This pad (insulated) proved to be more comfortable than I had expected by a pretty large margin. I own/have owned at least eight different pad brands for various purposes and this one now makes the list as the 'go to' for car camping and short backpacking trips with my wife. The pump actually works and over all I would recommend.

Best double mattress we ever found

Checks all the boxes, we're not there largest people but me and my partner fit fine.. it packs up smaller than our 1 person thermarest and the bag works very well for inflation. Come to think of it compared to the old days when we used to use the straps to tie two thermarests together this is literally a million times better.

I think 4.5 stars would be best but I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 because it could still use some improvements with the double design. I don’t like how it dips in weird ways on the way in and out of it without another person on the other side. But when laying it’s comfortable — I slept well with my partner and it’s seriously easy to transport and inflate so I’m a ... happy camper ;)

Purchased the insulated version for a “car camping” trip I was planning for five nights in each: Bryce, Zion, and Grand Canyon. It was easy to inflate using the supplied bag. Even at altitude inflating the mat wasn’t much of a chore. In the middle of the night on the third evening, I woke up feeling a rock on the side of my hip. I made sure the valves were closed and re-inflated the pad. A couple hours later I was back on the rock. My sleeping bag was a BA and isn’t insulated on the pad side, so now there’s no insulation between myself and the bottom of the tent. Temps were in the low 40’s. That evening I tried to find the source of the slow leak and was unable to do so (will need a bathtub). So now, instead of being able to spend time in the park and enjoying myself, I’m having to make time to go back into town and find an overpriced store just so I can get a good nights sleep. Total let down and big time suck costing me trail time as well as the money getting a replacement (for what I already have at home) on the fly just so I can get off the ground for a good nights sleep. I’ve never had my Exped or Thermarest let me down, ever, over years of use. Lots of other options that don’t have quality build issues.
