I still would love to see a larger Klymit pack (alternatively a moderately priced heavy duty cuben fiber would be great)...I'm in the market for a 55+L pack and would probably give it a shot should it drop. I'm a long distance hiker (looking to drop weight) and these day and weekend packs just wouldn't cut it.
maverick.twotwentythreeCheck out their Motion 60 pack (http://www.klymit.com/motion-60.html). They had a drop on here a couple of weeks ago, and I almost went for it. Interesting concept, and definitely light, the only downside that threw me was there weren't a ton of options for outside strapping items.
mjohnse4While I appreciate the reply I have long since bought a nice UL backpack (I ended up with a HMG 3400 Southwest in black and couldn't be happier with it). I'm honestly glad that the Motion 60 didn't drop before I needed one to finish my thru-hike because I would have likely purchased it and I doubt that it would have performed as well as my HMG and would have required a pack cover (which is actually a big deal for me since I lost one in a snowstorm somewhere in ME during the first leg of my hike and subsequently drowned a large portion of my gear).
P.S.: maverick.twotwentythree is my old account (I must have changed the user name or lost login info and created a new one).
M.a.vNo worries, didn't even notice the post date (new to this commenting thing for pack equipment, just starting to get into it) Glad it worked out for you
