EDIT: Don't buy the UD sleeves.
One thing to consider with this drop: the added price of deck protectors. Upper Deck sells them the cheapest on their web store, and it's $50 for 10 packs of 50, plus shipping. If you like it and are pulling out all the stops in completing a set, the whole thing with all the expansions is just under 3000 cards. So plan on $300 in card protectors. You may also want to purchase a few extra packs of protectors, as the starting deck protectors will start to wear (grease, stickiness, patina) after about a year of regular play.
herschel@deftrance I agree. The "official" sleeves almost double the cost of the set, and it was silly to purchase them. The major detractor is that, as they wear, the paint wears off the corners, allowing less-morally-scrupulous players to "creatively shuffle" their decks to avoid the base SHIELD heroes. Unfortunately, like Cher, I am unable to turn back time and make a more prudent decision.
herschelI feel you - I did the exact same thing when I first bought Ascension. (Which I love) - I eventually ended up replacing the 500 sleeves of those.

Alternatively, if you don't need something quite so 'high end', I recommend the KMC Perfect Fit sleeves - Amazon has them for $25.45 for 1000 sleeves https://www.amazon.com/KMC-Barrier-PERFECT-packs-Total/dp/B00T3Z72Q8 or Ultra Pro Pro-Fit - Amazon has them for $5 for every 100. https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Pro-Standard-Pro-Fit-Transparent-Sleeves/dp/B005HXLH3O
The above two are meant to be used as inner-sleeves with a secondary sleeve on top of them, but I find them perfect for deck builders with a TON of cards.
