Thing is, it doesn't look like thirteen-hundred bucks. If one is going to spend that much, the least the watch can do, is reciprocate in the looks department. I don't care what it's got under the hood (and in this example, nuth'n special); take the name off the dial, and this could be any of a thousand generic looking watches you might find on Amazon for a tenth the price. Where's the "wow" factor? I'm not against $1,299 watches, but I'm less than lukewarm on this snoozer.

RayFJust because I love to argue about watches I don’t own with people I don’t know over the internet, I’m taking the bait. For $1300, this really is a good deal and you’ll hold resale as the cheapest I see would be getting it from chrono24 German buyers at $1700. I’d say it’s competing with TAG mainly and I’d bet there’s an overlap with Tudor as well (if you were paying closer to 2000 instead of 1300 here). Those two you buy to be as flashy as you can with the budget you have. This is the opposite, and they nailed the details in matching up the aesthetics and case finishing. I just can’t justify adding yet another blue watch to my collection.

WatchyoutalkingaboutHell, I’d be willing to over-pay for a watch I really had a thing for, but this one just doesn’t move me.
