I wonder how long these will last. I wear in-ear headphones to the gym quite a lot, and they get snagged from getting caught on stuff and eventually wear out. I am wondering the durability of these headphones...if they will last much longer than typical in-ear buds. Since the cable is not replaceable it's a concern.

SiberWorlddurability shouldn't be your concern, they built like a tank. These are NOT for the gym use, they are too heavy. Refer to my detailed GT100s review on head-fi.org (under twister6 name).

twisterThanks Alex. I most often use earphones when on the go, in the car, out and about, etc... so want to make sure these can stand up to the daily grind of heavy use. I mostly buy cheaper earphones (w/ mic for phone calls), got some of the xiamoi piston 3's for around $15 or so for use. These will be my first "serious" headphones so I hope they are worth the extra money. Appreciate your input!

twisterI think the only person who will ever use this in the gym would be Dwayne Johnson aka the rock .

RidskaLOL, now I'm wondering how heavy these things really are! I see people using the big bulky beats over the ear headphones in the gym and there's no way I'd wear something like that while exercising!
