Overall impression? Reliable, functional, and well built
This M.P. mini folio has been used to tote a notebook, pens, pencils, and a few audio and video interconnects. It has served these purposes valiantly. Built from durable materials and a zipper that has not failed, this is an easy recommendation.
Much smaller inside than pictured. Can’t even fit a memo pad inside, let alone an actual pocket sized notebook. I can fit up to five stacked 3x5 cards, more than that deforms the cards. Would be a nice product if the pocket was wider or it had a sideways pocket to support opening a notebook in the case. As is its fairly useless except to hold some pens.
Plenty of room for pens and decent protection. The center divider is fine to protect the pens but the notes section is better used for cartridges or small paper pieces (receipts, scraps for writing on) instead of the claimed room for a notepad. This is a great option for those needing to carry more than a couple of pens. Great for backpack, attache case, etc.
I love it! The purple is different (not black) but not too out there to use at work. I've had a TWSBI 580AL and the OPUS 88 Demonstrator in it, but that would be the largest sized pens you could probably fit. I use it for the smaller TWSBIs, Metros and Lamys and it does fine. I love the center middle divider and all round zipper to protect the pens. The center pocket may be too small for the advertized, but it would hold a pad of stickee notes, a small rhodia notebook, an A7 sized notebook or some extra cartridges just fine. It's just what I was looking for, and I will be buying more!
I absolutely love this case. My favorite part of it is the protective flap in the center. I use mine for note cards, but is designed for a fields note type book. I also like that the case fits many different sized pens, yet when it is closed it is not too bulky. I don't think I would change a thing.
