I have this tent, it is very easy to set up. It is on the heavier side for backpacking, but affordable and durable. It fits 2 adults very well but don't expect to fit your packs inside the tent at night, 2 adults with 2 packs will not fit easily. The vertical sides do help a bit with space. Excellent price.
TortoiseThunderI think that under the fly could still be considered "inside the tent," especially since that space was designed as a place to put your packs. It is outside the mesh wall of the inner space, and has no built in floor, but it is still protected from wind and rain so it is not exactly outside.
Anyway, most 2P tents do not have room in the sleeping space for 2 people AND their packs, but many tents these days have space for your packs like this one does. If you must sleep with your pack all the way inside, then you should find a 3P tent.
TortoiseThunderNo 2P tent will comfortably fit 2 people AND their packs inside. You need a 3P tent if that's what you're looking for. The interior area among all 2P tents is going to be pretty similar.
randyjYes that is true for most, at the time I was a beginner and thought maybe that statement would help a few people out. So they could get a feel for the size.
