Designed by Italian knifemaker and artist Attilio Morotti, the Maserin Atti gentleman’s folder is as aesthetically pleasing as it is comfortable in the hand. It features a 2.8-inch blade made from CPM S35VN that’s heat-treated to an HRC of 60 for better edge retention Read More
Nice enough, but don't expect that being Italian means it'll have some kind of special luxury. Made in Italy will always cost quite a lot more for the same thing, and we can't say that's bad because I assume it's partly due to better wages etc. However in this case you pay a bit more for a bit less. It's a decent factory-made knife, but I never found anything to love about it, and ended up not using it much.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well the action works. The blade throws open and locks into position with ease. The only negative comment I could conjure up is that the edges of the scales could be softened a bit, but the sharpness does provide a unique feel that perhaps helps maintain a better grip. I like this one for dressy occasions and I'm pleased with the purchase.
It’s a beautifu, well-made gentleman’s folder. I am quite enamored with it. It is so nice, I only carry it (in its leather case) to church in my suit jacket pocket. It is a Sunday knIfe.
