The best and probably only thing we can do if they don't address this, and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until they don't, is to just dump Massdrop. Unsubscribe from their e-mail and order what you want from other suppliers. The Massdrop thing is cool and all... but saving 2 bucks here and 5 bucks there and waiting sometimes quite a long time to get my item just isn't worth it. The more I think about it, the more disenchanted I get. I understand them not coming right out on the first day and blasting their supplier, but at a much sooner point that we are at now, I would have done something.
This drop was just dumb and any company worth its salt would have apologized for this and done SOMETHING. Were it me, I would have said, look, we made 25 dollars on each of these (I have no idea what the actual amount is or even how they make money) and so we are giving each person here that much credit towards a future purchase. It placates me to know they ended up making no money on this, it provides them with incentive to do it better the next time and it gets me to continue to be a customer.
If this isn't addressed to my satisfaction this will certainly be the last time I buy anything from them but it won't be the last time their name is my lips. Of this they may be certain.
