Why a gold plated clip!? This seems to be a good quality light with a cheap clip... should have stuck with ti or stainless. I get that the gold plate matches the new brass, but it will not patina like the brass and in time it will look out of place.

MassDHow so? I got the Brass ReyLight with a stainless clip and it looks fine. Also, they could do a gold anodize on titanium... How is it going to look when the light patinas to a dull brown and the clip is still bright gold? What about when the plating wears off? Is the clip plated stainless or spring steel? Is it going to rust eventually?
