I love everything about the flashlight *except* the brightness mode settings. It needs to remember whatever the previous setting was and return to it when power cycled. Like utilizing a long-press power off to set the level you want as standard.
Beyond that, these are gorgeous little flashlight. I bought one of each and while the Cree is definitely brighter, the Nichia LED is definitely more of a "daylight" spectrum as opposed to the brilliant white of the Cree.
