I'm going to pass on this one. It's just under my 3 inch minimum (2.9) and I could overlook that for brass, but the AAA only format is a show stopper for me. For that much money I want the option to use rechargeable Lithium batteries.

MyRantsI've been using this flashlight daily for 11 months. With AAA, it's definitely not a tactical light. However, it is extremely handy. The low is very usable without hurting night vision. The medium is plenty for most indoor applications. The high is pretty bright for 1x AAA and has a nice sunny color with the Nichia. I use mine with rechargeable Eneloop Pro.
