So this is basically the Lumintop Copper Tool with a Ti Tool's end cap? Nice.
For those with questions on the natural patina. This is how my Cu Tool looks after about 8 months of daily pocket carry. The forward facing tail cap you see is a little less patinaed because it sits outside of my pocket and I use my lanyard to pull the light out.
B.manIt is a Four Sevens Preon clip. Fits both the Cu Tool and Ti Tool. I prefer it over the standard clip as it encompasses the entire light body and is held in place by the body ends. Also it has considerably more tension than the standard clip.
I had issues with the standard clip flying off or the light falls out of my pocket. I ended up replacing all of my Tool lights with the Preon clip.
Here is my Ti Tool.
Fadeni am not sure. i just happened to be on his site the other day and saw there was a preon clip. to tell you the truth i didn’t even know there were different versions that may take different clips. i’m sure if you emailed jason at darsucks he could answer definitively. he’s been pretty reponsive the couple times ive contacted him
AdamBFunnily enough, I did email him before asking if his clips fit the lumintops, he said he did not know for sure as they were designed for the classic Preons. Class and new Preons have different specs I believe.
headed_southWhat would you like to know? It is ungutted 550 cord snake knot with a pewter stormtrooper bead. I generally make one for all my pocket tools.
