Just received it today and the sound quality is really awful. It's worse than the $20 webcam mic I was using before it. There's a constant buzzing in the back and voice sounds super compressed; friends describe it as "earrape". Can't say I'm not utterly disappointed about my first drop.
canseyranI don't doubt your experience, but I can't see how electronics in the room could be the cause. Do you think you have substantially more electronics than your typical massdrop mic buying nerd? I have amps, TVs, computers, consoles, NAS, router, and much more. A properly made/connected mic shouldn't fail in that environment. Sounds like it happens for some users but not others.
gnarciaIt's defintely electronics, i plugged out every device while live listening to the level of the microphone. Every device I plugged off, reduced the buzzing. After I plugged out everything there was absolutely no bussing and the sound was crystal clear( I am using a laptop if you're thinking how that's possible). Well I would say I have more than average devices. But even if I leave only 2 connected, there is still a lot of buzzing, only after I plugged out everything the sound is perfect. Is it maybe because it is different in EU? Idk I've no Idea, what I know is, the mic performs really great when it "works", but it doesn't certainly do in my case. Also if I come very near to electronics with the microphone the buzzing is also gone ( monitor, keyboard, mouse, laptop, tv, ps4.....)
SparkWaveI had same issue as well.. but the noise is gone when i cover the cable-to-mic connector with my hand.. problem with the cable shield perhaps?
i bought 6 pcs and i think they are unusable at this point the electric humming is very annoying
SparkWaveI have the same issue, I didnt have the problem with my previous mic and when going back to it its crystal clear.
Also I have an high-end sound card so it shouldnt be that
