Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. BTW - with the batteries installed, my O2 desktop has significantly more bass impact, depth, and clarity driving HiFiman HE-350's, Fostex T50RP, or original Fostex T20's than a Schitt Magni, or Firestone Fubar III.
OTOH all three amps sound pretty similar driving Senn 580's or Beyer DT-580's - which I think may be the batteries contributing more current than the wall warts can deliver into 30 ohm loads.
Anyway - one MUST love a headphone amp that allows the Spurs to beat Chelsea in full fidelity.
Cheers & Beers
