Hi guys I have a question for musicians out there, I am gonna buy a yamaha CP40 stage piano and I need a pair of awesome sounding headphones to really accentuate the magnificent sound of the CP40 are the 6xx's a good choice? and can the cp40 even drive the 6xx properly? I hope someone could be of assistance.
i would guess that the piano itself isn't going to drive the headphones properly .
It's a pretty expensive Piano though, I'll look up what kind of Impedance it can handle. well it doesn't show if it has a AMP/DAC I assume it has seeing how expensive it is and i tried it in store with a pair of headphones i can't remember which one they were tho. might have been some Roland headphones or something.
Just stoppppp .. the piano won't drive the headphones bruh
and you know this because you are familiar with this make and model?
I e-mailed Yamaha and they said their Piano's can drive 32 to 300 Ohm and seeing how the HD650 have an impedance of 300 Ohm I would see a problem. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Sorry I meant to say Wouldn't see a problem.
