just got mine red k7xx today. I have been listening to it for maybe 3 hrs. I hear a lot of static. I didn't hear it from my speaker nor some of my good headphone. Did I receive a bad one? Did anyone hear the same thing? Just want to know if anyone hear any static from their new k7xx?

flintrockI had it a bit, too. I just unplugged and plugged the cable in being sure it was fully inserted properly. No static since. I love the sound. Very balanced. Unfortunately, they are VERY open. My other cans are closed or semi-closed and I just can't have that since my HVAC is noisy (AC in summer and noisy radiators in the winter). So I will be selling mine, unfortunately. That's life...
