These are nice, but mine broke after about 4 months. The headband has a thin, transparent plastic piece that holds the strap part to the suspension mechanism. Yeah, that plastic part broke. To replace it would cost about $80. That plus the $60 dekoni pads to replace the really underwhelming stock pads, and this pair of cans that cost $200 (arguably not worth that much) are now $340. They're definitely not worth $340. Not sure yet what the massdrop return policy is outside of 30 days, but I'm assuming that it's not going to be satisfactory. All in all, they're alright. They sound very meh until you burn them in and then they sound pretty good. They're comfortable with better ear pads as the stock ear pads are pretty bad. The cable is also kind of meh, it tangles if you look at it the wrong way. Wouldn't buy these again, and don't really recommend them but at the same time, I'm not not recommending them. For $200, they're marginally worth the price. Honestly, for less than that, you could go on ebay and buy a pair of m560s and be 200 times happier. These are also way harder to drive than the impedance would lead you to believe. My xhair 7 mobo onboard sound was fantastically loud with the 4xx's, but it barely drives these. Even the FX-Audio X6 dac barely has enough juice to push them to the top.
