I went up to AE and tried Dundee last Sun. I tried on a 8D: the length is just right but the width ran short so it felt super snug. But they don't have another E or EEE pair for me to try on. I just purchased a pair of 8 EEE, i thought it won't run too wide. Any thoughts?

CyruYour experience sounds just like mine - I wear a 10E on the 108, tried on a 10D in 511, and it was a tad snug on the width. The sales rep (Nigel, Buckhead, Atlanta) said EEE would be WAY too wide, and he's been spot-on with all of the advice he's given me. He brought out a 10.5D, and it was perfect. If you can, I would suggest changing to an 8.5D, as I think the EEE will be too wide in the ankle/arch area.

Cyruthe difference between D and EEE is only like 1/4th of an inch or something extremely small

ZacQactually one E would be 1/4 inch, so the difference is like 3/4 inch, about 2+ cm.

asUnitedanother factor that made me feel snug is this: i wore a pair of thick socks, so i thought over it and finally decided to get a 8 D. Since i think it shouldn't be that snug if put on a pair of thin one.
