Why is MassDrop suddenly asking a million dumb questions to have everyone else answer them? Shouldn't Drop have the "answers", and not the "questions"? Looks really lame.

A satin finish is a non-tumbled belt finish.

Knife blade in satin, never showing the scratch Cutting those zip ties, hoping it wouldn't catch Beauty I'd always seen with these eyes before Better than blackwash, I can't say anymore.

It is the finish on the blade. A satin finish shows the bevels of the blade, showcasing the lines of the knife, while reducing its reflective glare. As opposed to a mirror finish which shows fingerprints and scratched readily, or a bead blast which has no glare. It is a very attractive knife. I am glad I bought it.

A satin finish on the blade is very fine lines. Like sanding marks that all line up.

It means the blade is shiny polished. Not mirror finished tho. Nice knife. You'll like it.

Why is this being asked on the page for a knife not offered in this steel? Why are these nonsensical questions appearing?

I ordered my Crux Jan 31 and it arrived May 11. So about 3.5 months. Hope you get yours sooner than that.
What is the best way to sharpen and maintain this?

You can use anything you use to sharpen any other knife. For quick touch ups I use a spyderco sharpmaker.

Where is my order? ‘Preparing to ship’ for 7 days seems odd to me.
