I couldn't wear these for more than a couple hours with the stock pads they are very firm which = discomfort. I'm using them with ZMF Lambskin pads. They are kind of expensive pads but I like them. I'm sure some angled brainwav pads would work well with some stretching as well.

kenshinescaEikon or Omni pads? And do they fit "easily" without excessive stretching and bending like you have to go through with the Brainwavz pads?
Eikon pads pictures here *look* a bit smaller than the Omni, but the Eikon headphones themselves seem like they are pretty much the same shape and size as all these large circular over-the-ear headphones like the HE-350 so I am betting they will fit well. The Eikons to me also look angled nicely unlike the Omnis. http://www.zmfheadphones.com/pads-and-cables/
EDIT: actually now that I went in to the product page for each I see that the Eikon's are actually slightly larger overall and do have a little bit better angle on them. So definitely the pads to go with. Cheaper than the Ether-C pads I got too. Next time I will have to go with these.

kenshinescaI can't tell how much is the pads being too firm, and how much is the headstrap being too tight. I also noticed that after an hour or two they start to get uncomfortable much faster than my Sennheiser 595s.
