If that doesn't work, I'd get in contact with MD's customer service and see if they'll repair/replace. Good luck!
There's always the Hako Switches available if all else fails switch-wise.
Not sure if it would bear fruits, but you could always see if Input Club was willing to offer any advice or help. It was their baby and they seem like good people.
