For those who also participated in the series 1 drop as well and purchased packets, do you have any suggestions for attaching packets to this folio? I bought the small packet because all of the pockets were out of stock.
I have a medium packet on the front of mine, and a small pocket on that. I keep my notebook, power supply, and mouse in the packet, and my cables/pens/pencils in the pocket. It's an excellent minimal laptop bag. I have the packet attached to the row of webbing opposite the carry strap so the packet hangs down when I have the folio on my back. If you have any further questions, let me know!
I'd say whichever way you're comfortable with. I fed mine thru one side and secured the G clips on the bag to the loops on the strap.
I prefer the resulting static connection to the more free floating connection depicted in the product images.
I haven't taken it up to any sort of max load but I have a Surface Book 2, power supply, and other odds and ends that I carry in it daily without issue. Given that it's a slim profile, I think you'd be hard pressed to load it up enough to break it.
