Cash Grab anyone? Must be quite profitable to keep seeing laser merch getting churned out. What's next... laser themed shoes? Hand bags? Glasses? BUY! BUY! BUY! Open your wallets friends, conspicuous consumption is King!
poodudeHow’s making colorful clothing, related to the cyberpunk/outrun keyset I designed a cash grab? My idea was to offer a more complete line of products that complement each other. An enthusiastic experience for those who enjoy my vision... For example this hoodie is worn by the short story hero.
I understand it’s not for everyone, some people want some grey & blue keycaps and that’s it. But I like to be more creative and enthusiastic.
MiToDude.
I wouldn't even respond to any comments like this.
Ok I'm lying.
I'll rip a new one defending you and MassDrop.
I'm actually tempted to get the whole outfit. I think I could pull it off. Only issue. Shorts or pants? Or none? :D
Love the colors and design style.
Later!
poodudeOkay, maybe he wants to make money? People like the way these clothes look, so they support MiTo because they appreciate their work. Spending a few extra bucks to support someone as well as get some sick clothes shouldn't be shamed
MiToI think it looks great! There's gonna be haters, though. I'm pretty sure half the haters for GMK Laser are people who either are sworn iconoclasts or missed the boat on the drop and now want to shame everyone else to make themselves feel better.
I got home from an extended work visit yesterday and had Laser waiting for me, but alas I was too tired to put it on any board. SOON THOUGH!
MiToThe whole point of Massdrop is to offer a group buy to get a discount on what you would normally pay retail. Knowing what a polyester hoodie can be produced in China for, asking $80 is a bit much don't you think? I'm all for capitalism, I'm just pointing out the obvious. Based on the other comments I'm clearly not alone in my thoughts. I did purchase the GMK laser keyset (love it), and although not cheap, I see the time that went into the design and production of the colors and molds. Anyone on the other hand can produce a t-shirt. No hard feelings, just my 2 cents.
