great for the price, i have se535 to compare with. for 1/4 the price you getting almost 70% of the sound quality. also, the stock tips are all trash. replace them asap, you wil find much better seal thus way better base.

alancookieWhich tips do you recommend? I got some Dekoni bullets and they're almost exactly the same to my ears as the stock foam tips: still pretty weak in the bass.

revisionaryFinal Audio E Type. If those don’t help the bass, the bass is unhelpable.

PaulNSThanks for the recommendation! I'm having some trouble tracking down a place to buy them. Do you know of any online retailers?

revisionarySearch of "Final Audio - E Series Tips" on eBay. One of the cheapest sets of branded tips out there *rolls eyes*. The Logitech OEM "Original" Ultimate Ear (UE) tips (which are translucent / colorless) are also really good at warmth and bass as well - although they also roll the treble a good bit (which might be a good thing) and have a 'lip fit'. I've found some on Amazon with "original ultimate ear tip logitech". I'm trying to source some from eBay that appears to be a 'straight fit'; found with "Genuine OEM Ultimate Ears Silicone Tips 10vi". YMMV.

PaulNSAh, bummer. Looks like those tips you suggested are 4.9mm, where the EDC3 is 3mm. Sourced here: https://dekoniaudio.com/bulletzfitchart/ The EDC3 is under "Nuforce", which somehow isn't highlighted correctly. Thanks a ton for you help, though! Since I was asking around for better tips, I've found that I don't have nearly as much problem with the bass as long as I get them deeper into my ear canal. I was "getting a seal" before, but for whatever reason it seems deeper is better. That or I'm imagining it. I'm ok with placebos as long as they work ;)

revisionaryThat’s unfortunate. I find it to be the seal more than the depth of the tip opening - and not all tips that ‘feel’ like they seal have a good seal as specific material and shape also plays a large impact. Usually “deeper is better” belongs to triple flange, which definitely have more _opportunity_ to seal and isolate noise. For triples, the ER tips appear rated well, although that’s a realm I’ve never had much success in. All with their own strange ears; happy tip rolling.
