Has anybody been able to solve the problem with the open-back bleed being picked up by the headset? I feel like I've tried everything at this point and my Discord friends say they can still hear my videos/games/etc. How do you make an open back headset with a microphone that can pickup the bleed??

Neilsporini have had this headset for nearly 3 years and have never come across that problem. you may want to check your voice and volume settings on discord just in case

NeilsporinBest practices would be to test it on someone else's computer to confirm that it isn't a PC problem. Assuming that you get similar feedback on a second system, then you know the headset defective. If you can't test it on someone else's computer, you can still return it and claim it's defective and get a replacement, but you might end up with the same problem (and waste a perfectly good headset in the process). A potential explanation for why a defective headset would cause this problem, is that the microphone has become dislodged/unseated in the boom section of the headset. If this happens and the mic (which is really sensitive) is touching the plastic frame of the headset, then it'll pickup all the sounds via the vibrations of the headset enclosure. It's not a common problem; but we've seen it occasionally. Much more common, we see people that have some sort of sound setting that is looping/causing feedback, or the sound ports on their PC are setup incorrectly.
NeilsporinThe vast majority of the time, this is actually a computer software issue. Normally, the headphone audio doesn’t bleed back into the mic. I agree with Kevin, Check your headset by connecting it to a phone or something, so you don’t have to wait for your headset to ship back and forth if you don’t need to. Sennheiser partnered with EPOS for their gaming headsets. You can contact their support page here: https://www.eposaudio.com/en/us/contact/support

NeilsporinI had that problem when using them with the front panel of the computer. Connect to the audio processor directly on the back panel and it worked fine. In my case I use the ALC1220. In Discord remove all the audio processing options and in the audio driver activate the noise reduction for the microphone
