RWL34 is comparable to CPM154 in composition and is made by Sweden's Damasteel. Its the powder steel version of 154CM. S35VN is a premium steel and M390 is considered a super steel. 154CM used to be considered a premium steel in the past but now has been superseded by these newer steels. RWL34 is easier to sharpen but doesn't hold an edge as well as the other two in general, especially M390 (assuming proper heat treatment across all of them). It polishes really pretty though, like in the Heat Seeker.
Did anybody else's Heat Seeker take forever to get to them? This is the 9th day since I placed my order and haven't even received a shipping notification
I believe mine took 3 or 4 weeks. I bought 2 so that might have delayed things a bit. Worse than the wait was the condition of the individual knife boxes. They were in pretty bad shape. Nothing wrong with the knives though. Good luck.
