Our third collaboration with The British Belt Company, the Vero belt is made by hand in Rutland, England, using full-grain Italian leather from Tuscany’s renowned Tannery La Perla Azzurra. The vegetable-tanned leather is dyed all the way through for excellent depth of color, and over time will develop a patina that reflects your use Read More
Not sure what the other guys are talking about, but my Vero belt stretched rapidly and significantly. Within a week, I had to cinch it down an additional hole and after a month it seems even that has stretched an additional half-hole's worth or so. The leather feels of mediocre quality, thin and far too soft for a belt of any longevity- it's showing major wear around the holes after only a few months. The stitching is nice and neat, but this is absolutely not to be mistaken for tough harness or bridle leather. This is the kind of soft, structureless leather that wallets should be made of, not belts. On the other hand, it is exceptionally slim and lightweight which could be a positive if that's what you're looking for. But by no means is this a durable, hard-wearing, or long-lasting belt. This is for light duty, summer-weight trousers or thin jeans only. If you treat it gently, expect only a couple years of use out of it before it becomes unwearable.
No need, it's well-treated from manufacturer so needs minimal to no maintenance. The buckle might wear a bit depending on which you've chosen, but since I have the solid brass, mine doesn't deteriorate much at all (also doesn't detect at airport security since it's non-magnetic).
