mattrisSo, I super agree with this. But since I'm still interested and good at falling down web holes, I went and looked elsewhere. There just aren't any images of the rear of the units on Mitchell's own site. It does list a DC adapter as part of the package, so I assume that at least gets us the info on how they are powered - didn't see anything about a battery, but I don't think these are supposed to be ambulatory either. /ramble

Our speakers pair using discrete Bluetooth True Wireless Stereo similar to the tech used in earpods and the like.
The left speaker is the master (at first power up, the speaker turned on first becomes the master (L) speaker and the right will find it as soon as IT is powered on.
You can connect via Bluetooth or via any of the analog or digital inputs on the rear of the LEFT speaker and the right channel signal will be received wirelessly by BT.
Perfect if you want a smart stereo set up and don't want to install or run cables between the speakers, eg, each side of a fireplace or each side of a set of doors.
At 80W a channel they are powerful and due to the high grade Texas Instruments amplification chips and audio grade components we use, the soundstage is excellent.
We deliberately didn't use any of the expensive BT codecs as they make no audible difference and are frankly a waste of money in our bill of materials. We opted for basic BT codec but the best amplification chips.
Each speaker requires power which is supplied to the 24v DC board via a 110/240 laptop style power brick. This actually makes stand mounting and the related cable management simpler.

Very much appreciate your reply on this page, and this is a nice-looking product I'm considering.
Can you share some more thoughts or info on the real vs. perceived differences among BT codecs? Do the supposedly higher-res codecs fail blind listening tests? Admittedly I've never tried one, but recently I've been wondering . . .

MitchAc1Great explanation thank you. Here’s a more “purist” (or more like ocd) question: I if desired, can you also put a left channel rca cable to one and then a right channel rca to the other for a true analog connection? Say from an outboard Dac as an option. Thanks 🙏🏼

Ringing in PC38X's
I recently got this headset, and wow is it good. My only issue is when certain people talk on discord, I can hear a really high pitched ringing. I fiddled with a bunch of settings, computer audio and discord, and nothing seems to solve the issue. It is primarily if not all in my right ear only. Is there something wrong with my headset, or was that ringing always there I can just hear it cause the headset is THAT good? I haven't had any issues with any other application, though I have yet to test if I can hear the ringing on a different version of discord, say on my xbox instead of my pc. Only other issue I've had is occasional static, but I can't tell if it's from the headset or the show/game/etc.

Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

Recommendation for my next headphone set? I have Koss 95x
Hey all, What would you recommend I get next and why? I have Koss ESP-95x electrostatic massdrop headphones. These are my first and only audiophile set. I love them. I think my only real requirements is $500 or less for the headphones and that they have a little more low end. I don’t need thump but these are really light on lows…but the experience is still awesome. Also any recommendations on an amp? I only have my electrostatic thingy. I am using the Topping D50 DAC. thx!!
