The keyset from the reddit link pictures are from the first version MKC produced 3 years ago. The wearing problem has been subsequently fixed in the second iteration of the product. MKC has also included the F and J key bump to help locate the keys since the third iteration (most current version).
This drop is for the latest iteration of the keyset, and it comes with the F/J key bump and it does not have the wearing out problem.
