Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

- Default clear resin build is crystal clean and pretty much flawless; No rough edges or bubbles anywhere, definitely TOTL. In China, you can customize it like a CIEM but I wouldn't have it any other way. Pictures don't do it justice, the A8 is beautiful.
Accessories:- - Leather case is not premium but it's hard, durable and will keep your IEMs safe. It's pretty small though, so if you want to cable roll 6 or even 8-wire cables or something with a big Y-splitter it's probably not going to fit.
- - Cable is from a Lyre Acoustics, a fairly reputable cable producer in China. The Pansy (That's what it's called) is one of their cheapest offerings at ~45USD. It's an 8 wire cross-braid between silver-plated copper and pure copper. All the wires are litz structured and it's nice and soft. The big catch? There are very, very few strands in each wire that's why it's so cheap and thin despite being an 8-wire litz cable. If you read headfonia's review, they recommend dumping the cable and I completely agree.
- - Only silicone tips are included. I found them to be sufficient and required no tip rolling but your experience may vary,
Comfort and isolation:- - Not exactly small but fits me like a dream; Even better than the PP8. I would say it's 90% of what a CIEM feels like. By Western standards, I have smaller than average male ears so most people should be at least okay.
- - Obviously fit dependent, but the isolation for me is top notch.
