So I own the moondrop keyboard which comes with the linear switches and they are smooth. After testing the sample tactile switches they sent with the keyboard, I ordered some for my other keyboard and they do not disappoint either. Definitely recommend both.
These are edging out the Drop Holy Panda X's - something about the bump - stock too
Only downside was the thin top foam in the packaging allowed the switches to move freely within the main sleeve during transit, and not a single one from my two sets were seated in their tray. Sounded like a pair of maracas.
I bought the linear Lunalights and used them stock. I think it's decent, but the batch I got had a little amount of scratchy feeling/sound in it. This can be remedied with lubing.
I got the tactile tessence ones and they are absolutely divineeee!!! they are absolutely worth it and sound so high quality with no modifications on my part. I'm in love lmaoo
These switches sound and feel great compared to both the Holy Panda X and the Gazzew U4Ts.
Am now undecided which is my favorite tactile switch. It's a real toss-up between the Holy Panda X's and the Moondrop Tessence. The pitch is in fact higher on the Moondrop Tessence than that of the [lubed] U4T's and Panda X's but the Tessence's are so smooth and feel so good out of the box that they're high up there on my tactile's list. If you like tactile and poppy, I totally recommend them!
Great quality. Tactility somewhere in the middle of my collection.
Subjectively they feel in between Pandas and Browns. They stick to the PCB which really bothers me with other switches. No bent legs or defective ones in the 2 packs I bought. The packaging is really nice too.
The packaging was a nice touch. Having them in the fox with foam gave them a more premium feel even if half of them spilled out during transportation. The feeling they have is smooth and the tactility isn't jarring like some of the heavier switches out there. All in all, I feel they were a good shot in the dark switch to get.
