But my LGS has the booster box + bundle for $121.99 and I can get it at release, rather than wait on shipping. In fact, Card Kingdom has it for $121.99 as well. Does Drop no longer do deals like Massdrop did?

shiroihito69Does your LGS include the bundle for 2 extra dollars?

shiroihito69I have noticed that too, they seem to be pushing more of the stuff they make rather than get better deals. Also where do they get the 184$ from?

SmogBooster box + bundle = $121.99... what extra $2? You can go to cardkingdom.com to verify that this exists at LGS's as well. It is one of the quick online checks I do for all of Drop's MTG "deals". I just make people aware that they can actually support their LGS for similar prices to Drop now-a-days.

shiroihito69Ah I thought you meant just the booster box was 121.99, not with the bundle. Most LGS by me in NYC charge around $120 for new standard sets on before prerelease. I agree with you then.

SmogOh dang, that is a NYC size charge. I am in Seattle, so lots of competition to keep prices low. Amazon and Drop will hopefully provide relief if LGS's are charging $120 for booster box alone.

shiroihito69Agreed, this is not a great "deal". You can find online retailers selling boxes for $90 and bundles for $30 with free shipping too.

rekhubI've only started using MassDrop about 6 months ago and even in that short amount of time it seems as though the drops have gotten worse. IMO, there hasn't recently been a compelling reason to order anything MtG-related through them.

shiroihito69Hi Shiroihito69- Card Kingdom does not offer free shipping. I am seeing that they are charging $121.99 plus and an additional $12.05 for shipping.

KathleenHEggsactly, so buy from your LGS for the same price and don't pay shipping. CK happens to be near my work, so it is one of my LGS's. I am just saying, there is no reason to buy from Drop when one of the largest MTG retailers has the same price. It means you should find similar prices at your LGS while supporting your local gaming community. Heck, you could buy the booster box separate for ~$95 at your LGS, get a buy-a-box promo, pick it up at prerelease and then buy a bundle separate for ~$30. Many LGS's also buy cards for store credit and give you a bonus, making it way cheaper than Drop's prices. CK gives +30% credit and has one of the more aggressive buylists out there. Try your LGS and see their store credit policy... a great way to get rid of extra cards, get sealed product cheap, and support a LGS you like #winning If you have to go online and want free shipping and no tax, gamenerdz.com has booster boxes for $91 and Bundles for $31. So just saying, Drop has fallen far from Massdrop.

shiroihito69Half tempted to remove myself from their daily newsletter because of this. Very disappointing.

shiroihito69Yeah this is way over priced. A store in my country sell the very same pack for 125€ with a pre-oder discount lowering it at 108€. The booster box alone for 90€ with pre-order discout 80€. This website is becoming less and less interesting each days.

shiroihito69Card Kingdom charges tax and shipping. Over $145 total for me. I’ll stick to Drop.

courtma41Yeah, not everyone has a fair LGS. I have multiple options around $125 here in Seattle.
