I've had my K3 for over 4 years now. The mode cycle is H-M-L-Strobe and all modes, including strobe, are memorized after few seconds of being left on. Memory mode tends to be not all that common for AAA lights.
The rear switch is a forward clicky; it's got a good amount of resistance and a solid click, but because it's protruding I've occasionally had it turn on in my pocket.
This light is also a bit long - you'll need about 5.5" of depth in your pocket for it to be seated fully. Depending on the pants(usually shorts), it will bottom out.
The retention of the pocket clip, like all wire clips, isn't the tightest.
Besides those nitpicks, it's a great pen light.
guvnorcan you unscrew the head a bit to prevent accidental turn ons? I do this with my thrunite pen light and it works well (it also has a really easy to enable switch)
mike240sePhysical lockout is not possible with this light as both sides of the light feature spring loaded contacts for the battery that maintain contact until the head is completely screwed off.
