Icky2018Yes, for use in a tent as ambient light, such lanterns need to be able to easily be turned on and off using just one hand, not two. And of course to hang, and be super small and lightweight, with low intensity light option.

rmeurantJust to clarify, why only one handed control? When lying down in a small tent or under a tarp, one hand can reach a hung lamp, without having to lift the upper body off the ground/mat, so ought to be able to switch the light on or off. But a lamp that requires two hands to turn on or off, even though with very light resistance, will require raising the upper body, hence unnecessary effort, and disruption of one’s lying position. rmeurantI try one hand that is no way you able to twist one hand to turned it on. Unless I'm doing something incorrectly.
