Argh. When I got mine out today, I noticed the pin that holds the right temple socket was missing, and the entire socket/temple arm came off! I'm surprised it fell out. Has anyone here had this issue with theirs?

serifJust filed a support request.
My first pair of Oakleys to disappoint me, after 9 pairs. :( Wondering if I received a dud or if the pin/socket design is inherently more fragile than those with non-removable temples. Took them out one day and noticed the rivet/pin on the right socket was gone and the temple came right off. Wasn't able to find the pin in the pouch. Must have fallen out somewhere else. Argh.

serifThis is the reply I received. No warranty. Sharing for awareness. I enjoyed these for about 8 months :(

I'll have to get to a hardware store and see if I can figure out a DIY repair. Screw Oakley/Luxottica too for not offering replacement screws :p Would be such a simple fix.

serifYea holy shit my right pin one day like a couple weeks after i got em just decided to fall out like the hole is too big or the pins was made too short. N all oakley will do is offer that bs MVP warranty basically saying "instead of exchanging the faulty product we sold you for a good pair we will sell you a new pair with half the price of your frames taken off the price of the new ones" im gonna try n find something about the same size to put in its place. Did you find a solution?

NdubOMG. Sorry to hear that but somewhat relieved I wasn't the only one. I'm still flabbergasted at how it could have happened.
I thought I was worse off having zero warranty support but sucks to hear what they offered you. I can't see why it would be so hard for them to make replacement screws available. I've stopped buying Oakley shades because of this.
Nope, I haven't found anything that fits. Had hoped to find some aftermarket screws on eBay, but no luck yet. Latest brain fart was to try to find cheap knock-offs and see if the screws from those fit!!

serifOne solution i found out possibly, get a 1/32 drill bit n use the round end n it might fit in there, make the mark for depth then cut it off n use that n put a lil super glue on top?
