FYI, all the movements are essentially the same, just different model numbers and generations. No hacking, no handwinding. The ‘perpetual’ function is basically an integrated slide rule of dates, adjusted via crown and pushers to line up and keep track. Still pretty cool though.

WatchyoutalkingaboutI think the amount of dial color/band options on this drop is FANTASTIC. I've seen this model for sale before, but never with all these options! The green and pewter colored dials are very nice.

vlvtshrkIt’s a fun watch with enough quirky features to make up for the relatively low specs. If you own the watch until past 2031, you’ve certainly gotten your money’s worth. On the other hand, it’s a $100 that’s going straight down the drain. You’ll never service the thing, as it would be too expensive. At a certain point, the number of ‘disposable’ watches adds up to a value that could’ve gotten you a decent watch that will last for as long as you care for it.

WatchyoutalkingaboutStill beats buying an Apple Watch...

lailokenIndeed, but I view that as a gadget, not a watch. I imagine the Apple devices are incredibly useful, but I’d also choose this over one of those.

lailokenI have an Apple watch--works pretty good. None of my other watches receive phone calls, emails and text msgs or stream music to my headphones or AirPods; I tried them all.

RayFI've been putting off getting an Apple watch. I've got a Garmin, Fitbit (s), a Moto360, a Huawei... None of them are great, and all are already outdated. They are all money down the drain. As long as I know it's a disposable gadget... But I really don't want to waste. But all that said, I would like one one day... But I would first have to switch to iPhone. And will only do that once my Pixel is too old to work.

lailokenAgreed—hard to realize maximum value from an Apple Watch unless it’s part of a system that includes an iPhone. Regular software updates keep everything current—my watch and phone are both a couple years old and still preform as new.

lailokenChad @vlvtshrk(nice haircut) @vlvtshrk and I must have met before too? Cant' recall the occasion (my"fans" are legion) but evidently he's not quite over it yet? Could be that I dissed some other horological tragedy he thought was equally "FANTASTIC", or could it possibly be...he's a member of MD's Slight-Of-Wrist Club?! Ha--I knew it! They're all such haters ;- )

RayFNothing slight about my wrist, but as they say, it's not the size of the wrist, it's the watch that's on it! You sound grouchy-You may need your diaper changed. :D

RayFWe can't match the eloquence of 'Ray'! Yeah, looks like for some reason Dropbox made a new account for me, but the old one is still there too. Weird.

velvetsharkYou do realize you're commenting on Drop and not Dropbox right? You know--one sells watches, and the other one doesn't?
