This looks very, very interesting to me because I'd love to get back out into the open water and go kayaking but 1) the cost is prohibitively high for me and 2) I'd really like to know how resilient, ocean-ready and durable this cool-looking kayak actually is. I think it's so wonderful that you can just pack this up with you and go, I mean that's really a revolutionary idea in the sport/hobby but I can't claim this to be amazing until I see it actually working in tough, prone-to-change conditions.

m0arpheusNot a new concept, they have been around for a while, that being said only the military have used them for any length of time(decades). These guys don't make the military ones, you might get one surplus but they aren't common kit so they tend to get used till they are dead.

m0arpheusIn short, it's a fair kayak, but it is NOT rated for white waters or any rapids. If you're going to be paddling through a lake or some lazy river, you'll be fine, but no super speed white bubble runs in this thing.
