Great for beginners and seasoned writers alike, this bundle includes two Pilot Metropolitan fountain pens with different nib sizes—so you can find which line width works best for you—plus two Rhodia notepads. The gold standard in its class, the Metropolitan has a durable brass barrel and a stainless steel nib, and is compatible with both cartridges and converters for filling with bottled ink. The Black Crocodile pen comes with a medium nib, while the White Tiger pen comes with a fine nib. Rounding out the set are the Rhodia No. 16 Ice Notepad and Dotpad, both filled with 80-gram vellum paper that’s known for its compatibility with fountain pens. The Ice Notepad is available with graph or lined paper, while the Dotpad has a geometric dot matrix that doesn’t reproduce when xeroxed or scanned.
