Would this be a good pen for beginners to fountain pens? I've been mulling over a lot of different pens but I just didn't know which one to start with. I really like everything about this one but I don't want to mess it up with my inexperience...

MichaPilot Metropolitans are widely regarded as one of the best beginner fountain pens, if not the best. There are plenty of reviews online that sing their praise, so go look some of them up if you're still unsure.
I would suggest you get one of each nib (Medium and Fine) to see which one you like better.
