Would you guys say 35g is too light? im really really interested by this keyboard but I'm reading that 35 g is considered too light. I've never actually owned a mech keyboard before, so this would be my first actual experience.
For the record, I'll be using it for mainly gaming and secondly just typing in general (why else get a keyboard?).

TheXonarConnectionWell, the only reason I'd say that 35g is too light for these kinds of boards is because the higher weighted domes have a very pronounced tactile feel (in comparison), which is one of the reason things like Topre keyboards are so sought out for. 35g doesn't really take away from the board in any other way, but because they feel more linear, the people who like the tactile feel of the heavier domes don't really give the lighter weighted domes the time of day.
I'd say it's worth trying, but there is some merit to that way of thinking. The feeling of the heavier domes is very satisfying, and it's one of the reason people buy these sorts of boards over any of the ACTUAL mechanical switches. If you're not a fan of linear, it might not be for you, but if you're not really sure, I'd say it's worth trying. Swapping out to heavier domes is doable. In fact, I plan on doing that myself because the price of this board is a pretty good deal.
So, in short, 35g doesn't take away from the board, it just takes away from the tactility that people like. Lighter typing isn't hard to get used to, if that's what you're worried about. :)

VvanderfellThanks for the solid input! I was more or less worried about the fact that this is supposed to have resistance (and the tactile feeling like you said) which differentiate it from a membrane keyboard, but if you ake it lighter, both those things start to become irrelevant, this making it VERY similar to an ordinary membrane.
at least, that's how I've been thinking of it, but if there's still a definitive difference then I'm absolutely ready to get on this drop.

TheXonarConnectionIt actually does get closer to the feel of a standard membrane, but what makes these types different regardless of the keystroke feel is the longer travel distance. The thonky sound. The buttery smooth action. And really, if the feel doesn't do it for you, it's about $20 for new domes on Ebay.
