Drop Mech Keys Meetup Recap - Thanks for Visiting!
As you may have seen, we just hosted our first meetup in quite a while here at Drop HQ (Corsair HQ, but they seem to like us enough :) )! It was a blast to get to meet so many enthusiasts local to the bay area—it had been 10 years since I was last hanging out with keyboard nerds in the bay, at KeyCon 2014. We had a great time hosting everyone at the offices, checking out all the very nice boards y'all brought, and sharing some of our own projects/spaces! I knew it would be fun to host in the Game Room when I first saw it in person, but seeing it come to fruition was still so cool. Alright, I'll stop blabbering on now. xD Picture time! (Oh, real quick - there will be more of these! Stay tuned for more info and to catch the next one!)

For the record, I'll be using it for mainly gaming and secondly just typing in general (why else get a keyboard?).
I'd say it's worth trying, but there is some merit to that way of thinking. The feeling of the heavier domes is very satisfying, and it's one of the reason people buy these sorts of boards over any of the ACTUAL mechanical switches. If you're not a fan of linear, it might not be for you, but if you're not really sure, I'd say it's worth trying. Swapping out to heavier domes is doable. In fact, I plan on doing that myself because the price of this board is a pretty good deal.
So, in short, 35g doesn't take away from the board, it just takes away from the tactility that people like. Lighter typing isn't hard to get used to, if that's what you're worried about. :)
at least, that's how I've been thinking of it, but if there's still a definitive difference then I'm absolutely ready to get on this drop.
