Since this is almost certainly NOS, what kind of warranty is MD offering?

olesmYes, I asked for the same information in a comment below, and Twire also raises this issue (comment immediately below). What concerns me is: three separate members of the Massdrop community have asked for warranty information/history/provenance of this batch of PD watches. The MD administrator for this drop wrote a long comment introducing and extolling the virtues of this watch---a sales job. However, MD must act in good faith--the community is placing its trust in MD. All condition/mechanical/provenance/warranty information about these watches should and could have been provided when the drop was announced. That should just be standard operating procedure.

dholik8503You really nailed it with your original comment. This is a community for enthusiasts and it's not like this particular watch is in impulse-buy territory for most of us. You can bet that if I were looking at a $1000 secondhand or NOS piece on Timezone or Watchuseek I would be asking questions about provenance, maintenance history, etc.

olesmThe thing I value most about MD is the community, I can buy watches anywhere--I have learned so much from other member's comments. For this drop, I had never looked at Porche Design watches, their history was new to me, and another member mentioned PD's history with IWC and Eterna.... It is very disappointing that no one from MD has even addressed our concerns, as of this writing.
