refineryIt really depends on how you want to wear them. If you're going to wear with socks, I'd suggest your exact Brannock size. If you're not wearing with socks and want a snug fit, I'd suggest Brannock minus a half size. Lined versus unlined (unlined, like these stretch) and material (CXL is stretchy) matters as well.
Just to give you an idea of how the fit translates:
I'm between a 7.5C and an 8B on the Brannock.
I wear a 7.5B or C in most of the normal sized Alden lasts (Hampton, Leydon, etc)
I'm a 7 something in the Barrie, Truebalance, and Van lasts
I'm a consistent 6.5E in most of the C&J lats I've tried.
The hand sewn Rancourts are some of the smallest non-athletic shoes I've ever tried. I can take an 8D in the lined/shell cordovan models and can barely fit my sock-less foot into a 7.5D loafer. If I order these it will be in an 8B since I expect some stretch.
