Legend has it that the two fir trees in the Rhodia logo symbolize the two founding brothers, who came from a family of paper merchants and established the Verilhac Paper Mills in the French Alps. Named for the Rhone river that runs near Lyon, France where the company was founded in 1932, Rhodia's notepads are known for their high quality and orange covers and have developed quite a following among fountain pen enthusiasts. Now filled with Clairefontaine paper, they offer exceptional performance with fountain pens, as well as other writing instruments.
Note: This drop is for six notebooks (three packs of two). At checkout, you'll have your choice of cover color and paper type for each 2-pack. Not all combinations are available.
The Rhodia No. 18 Staplebound Notepad features 80 sheets of 80 gsm high-grade vellum paper, a hard cardboard backing, and a scored and coated cardstock cover that repels water and folds back easily. With a variety of paper styles featuring micro-perforations for easy removal, and thick enough to prevent bleed-through with most pens, the Rhodia Staplebound Notepad is a durable companion for everyday writing or artistic pursuits. The Classic line includes the Black and Orange covers that Rhodia is known for, with distinctive violet printing for lined and graph paper. Designed especially for their 80th anniversary, the Rhodia Ice notepads feature the same high quality construction using a white cover with a silver logo, and light grey printed lines. Rhodia's Dot Grid pads feature a lilac geometric dot matrix that is not reproduced when copied or scanned, offering structure without distracting lines.
