EjashHave you heard of Compliance edge? Guy makes fixed blades but one heavy duty folder as well (Flipper and non-flipper). Small business and no factory. Might have got one if I could afford it ($800) . Fixed blades are around 250-300. Love or hate design, but he is just one of the many small custom knive makers I've come across on instagram, but he seems super passionate about the heat treat process and has videos on youtube on how he hand makes the knives start to finish.
