so, not a great question, but if the ink runs out then this pen is garbage? Can you refill ink in these pens, and if so how (bought anywhere or from rotring only?)

AnfieldOn Amazon, you can get a 6 pack of replacement Rotring ink cartridges for $9.99. Also, if you have prime, it's an easier, faster, and cheaper option to buy the pen there as well at $30.40 shipped.

AnfieldA number of companies make ink replacement cartridges that can be used. Try a few till you find one that works best for you. I would suggest giving the Parker Quink Gel Ink Pen refill a try.

AnfieldIt looks like these pens use Parker-style refills; so there are dozens if not hundreds of different refills it will take, including Fisher Space Pen and Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 cartridges, both of which are particularly well-regarded among pen nerds.
