Serious question: how does one wash an apron - an item whose very job description is to get dirty - that has sewed on leather bits? Is spot cleaning the only option here?

drturkletonHonestly. Depends on the job.
Cook? Hand clean it.
Metal smithing? Leave it. Adds character and looks amazing with age.
Weird fetish stuff? Gloves and hand wash.
I'll stop there. :D

drturkletonGuessing at this, but that selvedge denim would also pose a problem due to shrinking.
Also, possibly dye staining whatever you're wearing underneath.

Dr.McCoyI don't know about denim as I don't own any ever until the MassDrop pants come in, I did hear about soaking etc that can help to remove any dye that would rub off and prevent I guess shrinking, something like that. Anyone?

drturkletonUnfortunately, you can't ask the manufacturer, because RPMWest no longer exists.

BrainFlushthey went under because they kept offering free tshirts which they branded as their own (but actually just cut the tags off another brand) and couldn't move enough of their product, plus they had issues with quality assurance overall.

j.a.lSorry man. I don't usually search until I have free time beyond work etc. That's sad. Makes me wonder why these aren't even more discounted.

PraxisCatCutting tags is bad enough. But it makes no sense. Either way, damn. That's too bad. Thanks.
