At this price I might as well get a 1080Ti. I'm not trying to run an economic simulation nor am I trying to make an A.I. so what's the point.

ProteshAfter a month of waiting for massdrop to send it to you. As well, you could get two RX 480/580s, even at their bloated prices and they would combined well outperform Vega in hashing, and probably draw less power.

ProteshOk, so you've paid a 150USD premium on the card and you want to earn back 150USD by mining etherium. The Vega 64 has a hash rate of about 34.4Mhash/s, which means it will take you about 3.5 months to mine 150USD of etherium. That means 3.5 months (about 2540 hours) of your computer, running at 100% CPU and GPU load. Why do people think mining is some sort of magical way to make fast and easy money?
