Bought one of these on a previous drop, very plasticy & flimsy feeling, and while it worked fantastically for a few days, it quickly developed issues and now devices are either not recognised, or speeds are all over the place. The MicroUSB 3 connector for it is a bizarre choice as well. Power cycles & different host ports haven't helped. It's now been relegated to a multi-port charging device (which it's good for) as it's hopeless for data usage.
